As we get ready to launch the 2026-2027 seed sales season, we want to inform our customers of the many changes for our seed business. First and foremost the company once known as Sklar Seed has now become El Toro Seed Co. This change reflects the change in business structure and management and a sign of our strategic growth. Additionally, our product offerings will change this season as well. We will now be marketing Producers Hybrids and Advanta Seeds. We are excited about the these company’s and their hybrids and look forward to visiting with our customers about these exciting changes for the upcoming year. See you at our Fall booking meeting!

POSTPONED--Better Together: Building a Stronger Community
With heavy hearts, we learned of the passing of former Edna Mayor Joe Hermes. Out of respect for his family and in recognition of his years of service to our community, we have decided to postpone our Better Together: Building a Stronger Community event. Our original meeting time coincides with his visitation, and we feel it is important to give our community the opportunity to come together to celebrate a life dedicated to Edna.

We will announce a new date very soon and look forward to gathering with all of you then.

Please join us in keeping his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding as we pause to honor a man who gave so much to our community.
