Jackson County Young Life

Jackson County Young Life Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. You were made for this Jackson County!

Young Life is a world class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them -- fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about the good news of Jesus and His love for them. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, and they begin t

o see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. Senior Sunday feels a little extra emotional for us this year. 🎓

The Class of 2026 was the freshman class when officially launched in Jackson County back in 2022, which makes this season feel especially full circle. So many of these students were there in the early days… helping build club culture, inviting friends, showing up week after week, and growing alongside this ministry as it found its footing in our community.

They were also the first group of Jackson County students to head with us to summer camp in Colorado, and getting to watch those freshmen become seniors has been such a sweet gift. From camp memories and club nights to games, lunches, late night conversations, and all the moments in between, this class helped shape so much of what Young Life in Jackson County has become.

Friday, we had the joy of celebrating graduates from Edna, Ganado, and Industrial all in one night and were reminded again just how special this class truly is. While we may not have gotten a photo with every senior, please know each of you has left a mark on this community and on our hearts.

To the Class of 2026, thank you for letting us walk alongside you during these high school years. We are so proud of who you are and excited for all that’s ahead. No matter where life takes you next, there will always be people here cheering you on. 🤍

What a way to wrap up the school year in Jackson County. 🤍

Sunday night, 96 high school and 8th grade students gathered at Texana Raceway for our 4th Annual Paint War, and it was one of those nights that reminded us why Young Life exists in the first place. A night full of laughter, friendships, community, color, chaos, and so much joy.

More than anything, we’re grateful. Grateful for every student who showed up. Grateful for the volunteer leaders who consistently give their time, energy, prayers, and presence to walk alongside kids all year long. Grateful for committee members, parents, local businesses, donors, and community friends who continue to help make spaces like this possible in Jackson County.

Young Life has never just been about events. It’s about creating places where students feel known, welcomed, and valued while hearing about the love of Jesus in a real and personal way.

To the Class of 2026 incoming freshmen who joined us for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here already.

Thank you to Sarah Atkinson Photography for capturing these moments so beautifully. These photos tell the story better than words ever could!!

Jackson County, thank you for believing in and investing in the next generation. What a sweet way to close out an incredible year of ministry. 🎨💥

4th Annual JCYLTX Paint War 2026 🎨 this Sunday, May 3rd at 7:07 PM, high school students from across Jackson County will gather at Texana Raceway for one of our favorite nights of the year. While it’s full of color and fun, events like this are about something deeper—creating a place where every student feels seen, known, and invited into meaningful relationships.

At Young Life, we believe connection comes before everything else. Nights like Paint War help build trust and community so students can experience authentic friendship and hear about a God who loves them.

Parents and community members, you are more than welcome to come watch, meet our leaders, and see what Young Life is all about here in Jackson County.
