Meet Leadership Edmond Class 41!

A new class, meaningful connections, and countless hours discovering what makes Edmond such a special place to call home.

Please help us give a BIG welcome to the newest members of the Leadership Edmond family!

Over the next nine months, Class 41 will get an inside look at Edmond, connecting with local leaders, nonprofits, and the many people and organizations that shape our community. They’ll gain new perspectives, discover more about our city, and build relationships that will last well beyond graduation.

We can’t wait to watch this group learn, connect, lead, and make their mark on Edmond!

We had a great Education Luncheon last week with Trait Thompson with the Oklahoma Historical Society talking all things Route 66. It was fascinating to hear the stories behind the Mother Road, Oklahoma's role in its history, and what's ahead as we celebrate the Route 66 Centennial. There was so much history packed into one lunch, and everyone walked away learning something new. Thanks to Trait for such an engaging presentation, the Edmond Economic Development Authority for sponsoring our luncheon, Visit Edmond for providing cool Route 66 swag and to everyone who joined us!

Join us as Trait Thompson, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Historical Society, shares an inside look at Oklahoma’s role in celebrating the 100th anniversary of Route 66. Appointed to the Route 66 Centennial Commission in 2023, Trait has worked with leaders from across the country to help plan this historic milestone. He'll talk about the Route 66 Centennial, the commission’s efforts, and why preserving Oklahoma’s history matters.
