Last week, one of our international ladies, Dommy, wanted to thank the volunteers who bring clothing and household goods most weeks to share with our ladies. Dommy told us that she alters clothes as a job and sometimes takes clothes to alter for friends who need them. She wore a dress and shoes she had taken for herself. It was a formal dress that she altered making it a dress she could wear many places. Thank you, Dommy and thank you, Brenda for translating!

The weather was beautiful Thursday and some teachers of our older children were caught taking them to the playground! We are thankful for the ladies who take care of our children and thankful for the cooler weather so they can be outside!

What a great day we had last week at Friendship International! Amy and Suzanne are talking about remembering. Suzanne was sharing special times with her son by showing Amy pictures of him in her photo album. Also, Amy was reminding us that we are to remember what the Lord has done for us.

Our classes have hit the ground running. I walked into the Book 1 class and saw them having fun playing a game with Scrabble tiles. The Art class is working on these glass covered vases. They were beautiful. The sewing class is working on several different projects. The photo shows one of our students cutting out fabric to make an apron.

We have had a wonderful spring at Friendship. New ladies have joined us and Amy has continued to share "words" from Scripture with us that the Lord uses to teach us who He is and how He cares for His people such as caring, peace, comfort and truth. Suzanne and Sherry do a great job acting out the meaning of he words.

We have had a great start to our spring semester even with the crazy cold weather. Several new ladies have joined us. If you are looking for English classes with ladies from all over the world join us on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30. We would love to have you! This week was our first gathering of 2026, and we were so happy to see everyone’s faces again.💓

Today, Amy shared with us about joy. It reminded me that if we choose to change our perspective, we can find joy anywhere. Instead of focusing on what we lack each day, we can practice gratitude for what we already have—and that joy can also become a way to bring happiness to the people around us.😊

In 2026, with our Friendship group, let’s continue to learn together, pray together, and grow together—for ourselves, our families, and our friends.💕

We ended our first semester a week early because of inclement
weather. Book 5, Quilting and Citizenship and the Bible class gathered together in their teacher's homes to celebrate Christmas together. We begin our spring semester January 8, at 9:30. International women are welcome to join us!
