Our Impact Investing Collaborative is honored to provide financing for development of in Capitol Hill by our friends at Positively Paseo. Great article from The Journal Record!

"Lovelady’s organization has been around for more than 30 years in Oklahoma City, beginning its work by revitalizing the Paseo District and constructing neighborhoods through community input. The four new homes in Capitol Hill are tied to a city-founded partnership program called the Strong Neighborhoods Initiative currently targeting that area.

"Lovelady said the city begins projects by collecting two years of data, listening to neighbors and implementing feedback to raise real estate values and create affordable spaces."

Positively Paseo starts building four affordable houses in Capitol Hill with $800,000 HUD funding to support low-income homebuyers in Oklahoma City.

Last week we celebrated Norma Johnson and her retirement—and not sure any of us are quite ready to let her go.

Norma has spent 13 years at MetaFund being the calm, steady, behind-the-scenes force we’ve all relied on. She’s kind, ethical, hardworking, fair, faithful, and always willing to do whatever needs doing, usually quietly and without recognition.

She has spent her life serving others with humility and grace. Norma, thank you for all the ways you’ve cared for this organization and its people. While we’ll miss seeing you every day, we’re so excited for this next chapter for you to do whatever you love most.

You are deeply appreciated and will always be part of the MetaFund family.
