We were thrilled to be present at today’s ribbon cutting for CADC’s newest venture: a mobile market! The truck will visit communities in SW OK that are considered “food deserts,” or areas with limited or no access to affordable, fresh, and nutritious food. The market will be open to the public and products are SNAP-eligible. Community Action Agencies are tasked with meeting the specific needs of their local communities - congrats to CADC for making this idea a reality!

The Bryan County Turning Point Coalition's 2026 Back to School Bash is scheduled for August 1, 2026, and we're already preparing to serve hundreds of local students and families!

This year, we've purchased our backpacks, but we still need your help filling them with school supplies. To make donating easier, we've created an Amazon Wish List where supplies can be purchased and shipped directly to support the event.

Paula, our Oklahoma Head Start Collaboration Director, proudly attended Oklahoma Children of Incarcerated Parents Awareness Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol, joining families, advocates, and state leaders to raise awareness and strengthen support for children impacted by incarceration.

At Head Start, we know that when families face challenges, children feel it too. That’s why we remain committed to collaboration and connection, and to ensuring every child in Oklahoma has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

Thank you to the University of Oklahoma School of Social Work and all partners who helped bring attention to this important issue.
