Cat-astrophe's Cockeyed Cat Rescue

Urgent request for our community!! For 2 years now, I have been trying to trap/neuter and return the feral cat population at the Northern Chowan Community Center. These cats have been there for years, and until now nobody has been the least bit concerned about them. All of a sudden it is an emergency that they all be GONE and by gone, I mean sent to a Shelter that has no room for them, no time to socialize them, and no hope for their survival. They will be euthanized immediately unless we can act. And yes that means kittens too. I have an opportunity to get them all spayed/neutered and transferred to a welcoming property in the country where they can continue to thrive and provide the service of rodent irradication. What we need is funds for the vetting and if anyone is experienced in fostering kittens, WE NEED YOU. There are kittens of all ages, sizes and personalities. Please if you have room in your home and your heart, reach out to us. These cats didn't ask to be there, they deserve a chance to live long happy lives just like the rest of us. TIA for any help you can provide.

The namesake for our rescue is now fighting for his life. Please help us help him. We named the rescue after him because he means so much to us all. We appreciate any donations, shares or just good vibes sent his way.

Roxy Music and siblings Pearl Jam/Pat Benatar are looking to leave this popsicle stand in the "Rearviewmirror". Love is definitely a battlefield around here, fighting for attention with all the other babies. These guys need to have undivided attention. Even though Pat and Pearl are siblings, Roxy is head over heels in love with the little goofy Maine C**n lookalike. And then there's Zenith, Maine C**n adjacent mother of the year. She loves them all. The possibilities abound. You do the math for your household and let us know.

Bon Jovi, the prodigal son, has returned home. After a short stay at a relaxing Airbnb 😉, he is back and ready for a more permanent solution. For the Edenton locals, we are hoping he will be the last kitten ever rescued from the Frog Crossing clan. He is the sweetest boy, and makes the best biscuits outside of Grandma's kitchen. He is pictured here with his bff Boone from the aforementioned Airbnb. They would love to spend forever together. Much like Bon Jovi, Boone was plucked from the unforgiving outdoors, where kittens like them don't stand a chance without intervention. You could be their new lease on life.

For the entire month of August, we are raising money to help residents with spaying/neutering community cats. No donation is too small, and every penny goes to their vetting. They didn't ask to be here on this earth. The least we can do is make their lives easier and curb the population. If you can't donate, every share helps. TIA

All Yusef (Cat Stevens) needs is a comfortable lap and a good TV show. He is not your typical ginger boy, he is calm and sweet as pie.

Zenith claims this heat is ridiculously crazy. Also not to be put up with is still being a foster child. She's a kitten trapped in an adult body and knows she's destined for bigger and better things. Give a stunning girl a break.

How many have you saved? Fostering just one litter and getting them all fixed makes a huge difference.
