We had another fantastic all-staff meeting at The Florian Gardens Conference Center last week!

Once a year, our team comes together from across Eau Claire, Buffalo, Trempealeau, and Jackson counties. This year, we gathered 170 of our incredible employees to connect, celebrate, and recognize the people who make Western Dairyland so special.

One of the highlights was celebrating some amazing employee milestones! This year, we’re proud to recognize:

🏅 Four employees celebrating 25 years of service
🏆 Two employees celebrating 32 years of service
🏅 One employee celebrating 37 years of service
🎉 Two employees celebrating 41 years of service

That’s nine employees with a combined 283 years of experience!

To each of our employees, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the communities we serve. We’re so grateful for the experience, heart, and hard work you bring to Western Dairyland every day.

With a recent donation, the Day Resource Center is now less than $1 million away from their campaign goal.

$150,000 was donated by BMO, bringing the campaign total to $5.6 million out of their $6.4 million goal. Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council CEO Anna Cardarella said they are grateful for the gift.

BMO has donated $150,000 to the One Better Way capital campaign, which is helping fund the Day Resource Center in downtown Eau Claire. The contribution is BMO's largest-ever donation in the Chippewa Valley, and brings the campaign's fundraising total to $5.6 million.

“We are incredibly grateful to BMO for this extraordinary investment in our community,” said Anna Cardarella, CEO of Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council. “This gift brings us closer to our fundraising goal and strengthens our ability to connect people experiencing homelessness with the resources and support they need to move toward housing stability.”

We've added a lot of new programs, new services, and new employees, so Western Dairyland is moving to new offices!

Starting on October 19th, our office at 418 Wisconsin Street in Eau Claire will be closed to the public. But don’t worry, we didn’t move far!
