Joining the upcoming Tiny Pop-Up Market is My Monster Hat, the work of an artist and educator who brings playful creatures to life across a variety of mediums.

Best known for their felt monster hats, the artist also works in painting, zines, and, more recently, clay. Their work embraces the strange, imaginative, and unexpected, offering a friendlier take on the creatures that usually go bump in the night.

Come meet the artist, try on a little monster energy, and explore what they’ve been creating at the Tiny Pop-Up Market on Saturday, September 5, from 4–7pm at CitySpace, during Art Walk Easthampton.

Under the Eaves brings together the work of the Over the River Collective: Elisa Lanzi, B.Z. Reily, Annie Rogers, and Margo Temple. Through artists’ books, prints, collage, sculpture, handmade paper, paintings, and drawings, the artists explore memory, identity, creativity, and the stories we carry forward.

A special feature is Tigh an Dáin: The House of the Poem, a three dimensional installation housed in a vintage wooden house, with prints, sculptural objects, natural materials, and miniature artists’ books tucked into the attic.

Meaghan Schwelm Art is the creative practice of Easthampton artist and librarian Meaghan Schwelm, whose work draws from plants, careful observation of the world around her, and moments from her own lived experience.

Rooted in curiosity and attention to detail, Meaghan’s art reflects the connections between personal experience and the natural environments we encounter every day. Her work invites viewers to slow down, look a little closer, and notice what might otherwise be overlooked.

Trade the usual Saturday plans for an afternoon of live acoustic music at CitySpace Bluegrass.

On Saturday, September 5, from 4 to 7pm, the Blue Room fills with pickers, singers, and neighbors as David Clark Carroll and friends host our monthly open bluegrass jam. Bring an instrument and join the circle, or settle in and enjoy an afternoon of toe tapping tunes, spontaneous collaborations, and the kind of music that's best shared.

No experience is required, no tickets are needed, and everyone is welcome. Just come by, listen, play, and be part of the tradition. 💙

What a night! Chicha Libre absolutely tore it up at CitySpace this past Saturday. It was HOT, in every sense. Psychedelic cumbia, surf-soaked guitars, swirling keys and a packed room moving with them.

Huge love to Chicha Libre, Secret Planet, and DJ Bongohead for bringing this sound to Easthampton.

And Secret Planet is only getting started at CitySpace.
