A perfect summer day dedicated to connection, conversation, and community.

Last weekend, ESNJ brought couples together oceanside in Asbury Park for the one-day Navigating Us Couples Retreat, a meaningful gathering for couples learning how to live, love, and care through the unique complexities of epilepsy.

Set apart from the everyday, the retreat created space for partners to strengthen their connection, reflect on their shared journey, and build a vision for the future together. Through guided conversations, shared learning, meditation, and time around the table, couples found understanding, support, and the comfort of being with others who truly get it.

Thank you to facilitators Michelle and Rodrigo Martins, speaker Dr. Nicole Hartmann, wellness leader Melissa Fine, our attendees, and our generous sponsors,UCB Biopharma. , Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group, Neurology Center for Epilepsy and Seizures, and Neurelis, for helping make this special day possible.
