The East Ridge Police Department, in conjunction with East Ridge Optimist Club will hold the annual food drive on May 30th, 2026, 10-1. Come see us, 5330 Ringgold Road, East Ridge at Southern Honda Powersports! Bring nonperishable food items or donations to help to support our neighbors fight food insecurity.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms we never want to take for granted.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause to reflect with gratitude and remember those who paid the ultimate price. From all of us at the East Ridge Needy Child Fund, thank you to the heroes and families who have served and sacrificed for our nation. 🇺🇸

We are so excited to partner with the East Ridge Optimist Club for our 1st Annual Corvettes for Kids Car Show happening Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Camp Jordan Arena! 🏁🚗🔥

This incredible event will bring together amazing cars, great people, fun competition, and a chance to make a real difference in our community. Awards will be given for categories like Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, People’s Choice, and more, plus a $500 cash grand prize for Best in Show! 🏆💰

Most importantly, every registration, sponsorship, and attendance helps raise money for both the East Ridge Needy Child Fund and the East Ridge Optimist Club so we can continue supporting local children, families, and programs right here in our community. ❤️

We had such an amazing time celebrating everyone who has volunteered their time, donated toys, or given financially to help make the East Ridge Needy Child Fund as successful as it has been. We are so grateful for every person who has helped us make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

A special thank you to our friends at The Spot for not only supporting us throughout the year, but also for donating their space so we could host our Volunteer Appreciation Party.

Our East Ridge community is better because of each and every one of you. Thank you for helping us love and serve our city so well! ❤️
