Officer William Lind with the E. Moline Police Department came to our meeting to:
1) Apprehend Bill Siess for driving to slowly;
2) Issue a summons to Kris Vyncke to appear in court for impersonating a club secretary
Or
3) Teach us about current scam and fraud trends.

#3 is the correct answer and we will all be more cautious after tonight.

Tonight we were honored to have a previous guest come back with a membership application filled out and ready to submit. I hope the membership committee accepts her application!🤣

It was also nice to see our friends from the Galva Kiwanis Club again. They brought us the traveling gavel disguised as a Galva wind turbine (windmill). We will be dressing it up ourselves and taking it to the Annawan Kiwanis next. Should we make it into a green combine or a firecracker 🧨 to honor the annual Firecracker Run?
