What a great looking crew! ☂️

Members of the East Liverpool Rotary Club pose under the newly installed patriotic umbrellas in Umbrella Alley in downtown East Liverpool. ☂️

Rotarians were accompanied by East Liverpool Garden Club Members (seated, from left) Mary Beth Gill and Sally Haines. Standing behind Gill is her husband, Mike. The Rotary Club gave a donation that went towards the purchase of the new umbrellas. The display is in honor of the Fourth of July and in recognition of East Liverpool being named an America 250 city. 🇺🇸A celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of America will be held downtown Saturday, July 11. ❤️🤍💙


Mike and Mary Beth Gill spearheaded the creation of Umbrella Alley about 5 years ago. Mary Beth was named a Hometown Hero in 2022 by WYTV News in recognition of her hard work. 👏🏻 👏🏻

From the tiniest Pre-K and Kindergarten grads taking their very first big steps… to high school seniors chasing dreams into the next chapter… to college graduates who worked tirelessly toward their goals… WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU ALL. 💙

Every diploma, certificate, tassel, cap, and milestone tells a story of hard work, growth, perseverance, and heart. Some journeys came easy, others took extra courage but each accomplishment deserves to be celebrated.

Over the last few days, the East Liverpool Community & Learning Center has been filled with smiles, proud families, happy tears, and lots of little graduates heading off to their next big adventure.

We are so thankful to everyone who chose to celebrate such a special milestone with us. Being part of these moments and watching our community come together is exactly what our center is all about. 💙

JUST GONE TO PRESS, the Summer edition of My Hometown East Liverpool, Ohio Magazine. It's the BEST issue yet, and will be available for sale soon. It's a rare thing for a small town to have its own magazine, especially one of this quality, and Keystone Printing is proud to play a part in its production. (Such alliteration comes from loving Old English verse.)
