We don’t always get to see or hear the impact that The House of Grace has made on our many friends. But, we are getting a small glimpse a few of our friends really rise to their fullest potential.

A few years ago we had quite a few “kids” ( young adults) live at the Pink House on Lincoln Ave. If you know about the pink house or as DTF often referred to it as the Pink Palace you know of it’s wild reputation, repeated drug raids, the poverty, the lack of nutrition, guidance and care that each of these adults lacked.
These kids have since all disbursed, got separated, some just left, most got kicked out, some went to jail and it’s been fairly quiet at the Pink House the last 6 months or so.
But, the more time has lapsed we are hearing some GREAT things from some of these kids who have decided to grow up, take responsibility, mature, leave their familiar surroundings, people, places and things.
Two of them are ROOTED in a home church, rocking recovery. Working jobs, working on their selves, and doing fabulous.
One is working her recovery journey, recently accepted two different jobs to support herself & get ahead she is looking incredible and healthy and doing so well mentally & physically.
One of them just sent me a long message telling me how great things are going for him and the affect the H.O.G. Had on his life ( I’ll put it in the comments).
This is what keeps us going.
This is why we do what we do
This is why we continue to serve, love and give extra grace for those that the world throws away.
Because People matter to Jesus and so they matter to us.
We will never ever forget our Pink House kids .. Jesus loves them and so do we.

Bingo TONIGHT!! At the Moose Lodge Downtown. Please come support a good cause and enjoy good food, fun, and lots of bingo. Doors open at 4:30 first game at 5:30 .. Chinese auction items galore .

Bingo Friday at the East Liverpool Moose Lodge. Doors open at 4:30 price are 12 cards for $20.
Lots of Chinese auction items to choose from! Auction tickets are 6 tickets for $5.
You can still pre-purchase your tickets or buy them at the door hope to see you there!!!

Only a few days left until BINGO!! We hope to see everyone at the Moose Friday at 4:30!!! Please remember the proceeds go to the food pantry to help families this fall and upcoming holiday season!
