With the leadership of the Board of Directors, the Foundation has established as their mission “to provide opportunities for giving at Sacred Heart that will lead to a sustainable financial foundation for generations to come.”

The Sacred Heart Foundation is excited to feature our latest Highlighted Scholarship - the St. Francis Scholarship. This fund was established by Al & Barb Langer.

As I met with two of Al and Barb’s children to find out more about the St. Francis Scholarship, “Get your boots on!” sticks in my mind. This was a rock-solid couple whose foundation was faith, family, and taking care of others – just because it was the right thing to do. Sacred Heart benefits today from their dedication and generosity, and I am excited to share their story with our foundation family.

As we take the time to honor those who have gone before us this weekend, the Foundation would also like to offer our prayers and our gratitude for the sacrifice and generosity of so many people who have made it possible for Sacred Heart students to continue to grow in knowledge, virtue, and faith.

The Sacred Heart Foundation Family would like to express our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of John Keller. John's wife, Charlotte, was a 1948 almuna of Sacred Heart, as are their children, Catherine (Keller) Pelz, 1971 and Fr. Robert Keller, O.P., 1970.

John and all alumni, family and friends of the Foundation who have gone home to the Lord will be remembered at a Memorial Mass on August 14th at Sacred Heart.

Grant him eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

The Sacred Heart Foundation Family would like to express our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Dale Neppel. Dale was a 1961 alumnus of Sacred Heart and his wife, Judy is also a 1961 alumna. Their daughter, Melissa, is an alumna of the class of 1987.

The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Sacred Heart Foundation. We invite you to visit the foundation at https://www.sacredheartfoundationegf.net/give-shs-foundation to make a donation to any of our funds in memory of Dale.
