Rejoice with the angels in heaven and with sister Carolyn and her team who shared that two ladies have trusted Christ and are growing in grace as they attend the CDI women's class. Carolyn and her team (who are pictured) have been teaching a class for three months and have seen the fruit of two ladies surrendering their lives to the Lord! Amen!

Did you know there is a country in Africa named Burundi? Did you know that CDI is being taught currently in Burundi? Pastor Nestor just started teaching the Great Doctrines of the Bible course in Nyanza Lac, Burundi. Twenty-four students attended the first class and now the class has grown to thirty. Pastor Nestor has to travel four hours over very rough roads at some cost to reach these eager believers. He is working with someone who is translating the lessons into Kirundi which is the local language there. Rejoice that God is doing amazing things in towns and villages all across Africa.

The Myanmar believers in Singapore celebrated the 28th anniversary of the founding of their church on May 10,2026! They reflected on God's goodness and faithfulness over nearly three decades. Pastor Peter Cho and his wife have been with the church for over 16 years. The fellowship had dwindled to just a few members when the Chos arrived but through the years God has consistently blessed this church so that it has three services every Lord's Day in different locations.

Brother Dalton Olouch is a CDI teacher and also ministers to street children near Kitale, Kenya every Sunday. He preaches the gospel, feeds the children, often takes them to medical appointments, and provides life on life discipleship. Dalton recently celebrated his birthday where the children (young and old) shared poems, recited Bible verse, enjoyed some birthday cake and played some football (aka soccer) games. Pray for Dalton as he continues to sow gospel seeds ministers to the forgotten and the vulnerable children in his community.

Today in 1924, William Haas (born 1873), founder in 1920 of Baptist Mid-Missions, died of a fever at Bangassou (in present-day Central African Republic) where Baptist Mid-Missions had established its first African outpost.

Oakwood Baptist Church of Anderson, SC faithfully supports CDI every month. This congregation has a great heart for mission and many members spoke with us after the service. Our executive director provided an update to the church this month. He was able to visit with one of our CDI lessons grader--a faithful servant who has graded thousands of lessons over the years. Pastor Michael Jones and the congregation gave a generous gift to help us purchase Bibles for CDI students. Many members spoke with us after the service.
