The Cycle Effect's mission is to empower young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities. The Cycle Effect focuses on three primary goal areas: physical wellness; community impact and mentorship; and building brighter futures. By providing an opportunity for girls to be engaged in regular, healthy programs that help build their self-esteem and promotes

overall wellness, girls are more likely to be healthier, stay engaged in school and set goals that will support their future.

The Cycle Effect has been selected by 9NEWS Denver reporter Kyle Clark as the featured nonprofit for “Word of Thanks” on Next with Kyle Clark.

This year, we’ve impacted 900 girls and women across four Colorado counties through mountain biking, mentorship, and leadership. And you have a chance to help us expand and deepen that impact next year.

The Eagle County girls won the team category in the Vail Recreation District Summer Mountain Bike Series!

And while winning isn’t the goal...it feels pretty fun to be up on that podium! 😂

The real win is what the girls and coaches did all summer to make it happen: showing up, doing hard things, cheering each other on, trusting their coaches, trusting themselves, refusing to quit on the climbs and celebrating each other's wins.

We’re proud of this team! Not just for where they finished, but for how they showed up for one another. Way to go TCE!! And way to go Abby for winning her age group!

And thank you for providing a platform for our riders to challenge themselves!

Every girl deserves a voice. 🖤

On Women’s Equality Day, we honor the generations of women who fought to have their voices heard through the right to vote.

Today, we’re continuing that work by creating spaces where girls can build confidence, find belonging, and discover the power of their own voices.

Through mountain biking, our coaches, volunteers, and mentors helps girls develop the courage to speak up and believe in what’s possible for their futures.

Over the last year, 900 girls have been impacted by our programs and 100% of those girls go on to graduate high school. 75% of those girls are among the first generation in their family to attend college.

The impact of joining TCE will show up in the woman she becomes, the family she leads, the community she strengthens, and the next generation she inspires.

Women, Bikes & Good Vibes! ✨

Steamboat Fam: meet us on Wed. Sept 2 for an evening of bikes, babes, snacks, and supporting an excellent cause.

We’re kicking things off with guided mountain bike + gravel rides around Emerald Mountain, with groups capped at 8 riders and led by experienced local rider. All levels welcome.

Then it’s time to tailgate! Bring a favorite potluck dish or beverage, enjoy some music, meet fellow riders, and hang out after the ride. BYO food + beverages welcome, including alcohol.

Here’s the plan:
5:00 PM: Arrive + choose your ride leader
5:30–7:00 PM: Guided mountain bike & gravel rides for ALL levels
7:00–9:00 PM: Women’s Tailgate Party at Howelsen Hill Stables
