The MVP at The Cycle Effect might just be... THE VAN.
It’s not flashy. But our vans might just be the most important sets of wheels at The Cycle Effect.
Every week in all four counties, the van travels from schools to trailheads, picking up girls who otherwise might not have a way to get to practice. For many families, transportation can be the barrier between wanting to participate and being able to participate.
Though it may get dusty on the inside, its loaded with gear, seatbelts and windows to let in the breeze on the way to practice. The atmosphere in the van is often buzzing with anticipation and excitement at seeing friends.
At The Cycle Effect, we work hard to remove barriers through scholarships, equipment, coaching, mentorship, and transportation. The van is the crucial element that helps make all of that possible.
So here's to the unsung hero with the well-worn seats and muddy floor mats. Here's to the van that carries confidence, community, and opportunity!
