The Eagle Pass Housing Authority is proud to announce the successful completion of the first week of our Summer Program!

We are excited to see so many children enthusiastically participating, learning new skills, making friends, and enjoying a safe and engaging environment. Their energy, curiosity, and excitement have made this first week a tremendous success.

We look forward to the weeks ahead as we continue providing enriching activities, educational opportunities, and memorable experiences for all participants.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers, parents, and community partners for helping make this program possible. Together, we are creating a positive and impactful summer for our youth.

The Eagle Pass Housing Authority proudly hosted a Regional Executive Directors Meeting on May 27, 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity for area Housing Authority leaders to discuss common industry issues, exchange valuable information, and collaborate on ways to continue improving agency operations and services for program recipients.

Executive Directors in attendance included:

• Virginia Limon – Uvalde Housing Authority
• Isidro Valdez – Del Rio Housing Authority
• Jessica Ramos – Pearsall Housing Authority
• Christina Gamez – Crystal City Housing Authority
• Cindy Castillon – Brackettville Housing Authority
• Mary Velasquez – Eagle Pass Housing Authority

The Executive Directors remain committed to working together and will continue meeting in support of their shared mission to strengthen housing programs and better serve their communities.
