⚾🥎 HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF VALLEY LITTLE LEAGUE!

Valley Little League will hold our Annual Membership Meeting & 2027 Board Elections on:

📅 Wednesday, September 16
📍 Duvall Visitor Center

🕡 Meeting: 6:30–8:00 PM

We’ll share an update on the state of the league, including our finances, results of the 2026 Parent Feedback Survey, priorities for the future, and more. Most importantly, our membership will elect the 2027 Board of Directors.

This will be an important transition year. Our current President will be stepping down and leaving the Board after this season, and several positions need new volunteers, including President, VP of Baseball, Baseball Player Agent, Marketing Specialist, Umpire in Chief, Scheduler, Board Secretary, and other opportunities.

Valley Little League doesn’t happen without volunteers. We’re looking for motivated parents and community members who care about kids and want to help make our league even better.

You don’t have to be a baseball or softball expert. Bring your experience, ideas, energy, and willingness to help.

**Help Shape the Future of Valley Little League! ⚾**

Our 2026 Parent Feedback Survey brought in **73 responses**—more than double last year's participation—and one thing is clear: our families care deeply about this league and want to help it continue to grow.

Parents told us they love our coaches, the positive culture, and the sense of community that makes Valley Little League special. They also shared thoughtful ideas on how we can continue improving communication, strengthen our softball program, enhance player development, and make the overall experience even better for every family.

Now we're looking for a few passionate volunteers to help turn those ideas into action.

Whether you have experience in youth sports, marketing, fundraising, facilities, technology, softball, baseball, finance, or simply want to give back to our community, we'd love to have you join the Valley Little League Board of Directors.

Serving on the board is a chance to make a lasting impact on hundreds of local kids while helping guide one of our community's most important youth organizations.

What a run. 💙🥎

Last Friday, our Valley 8/9/10 Softball All Stars wrapped up an unforgettable State tournament, and what an incredible journey it was.

This was a team in every sense of the word. Every single player contributed, stepped up when it mattered, and played a role in the success of this special group. Watching them compete, support one another, and represent District 9 with heart was something to be proud of.

A special congratulations goes out to our home run hitters during the All-Star run:

We also want to recognize the amazing families behind these athletes. Your commitment, countless hours, commutes to West Seattle, and ringing of the cowbells made this journey possible. How many families can say their Little League season was still going strong in early August? Thank you for every practice, every game, and every cheer from the stands.

To our coaching staff—Shaun Stangler, Jason Brown, Brooke Davis, and Sheena Stangler—thank you for believing in this group from the very beginning. You saw their potential, challenged them to grow, and helped them become the team they were capable of being.

Congratulations to these District 9 Champions, who carried that momentum all the way to the State tournament and battled their way to four State tournament victories. You represented your community with grit, determination, and sportsmanship.

Congratulations on an incredible All-Star season! The memories made and friendships built will last far beyond the final out. ❤️🥎

A commanding run! Keep winning VLL Softball! 🥎

VLL SB 10s All Stars Walk It Off Against SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26

VLL SB 10s All Stars took Thursday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 3-2 walk-off victory over SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the seventh when Madison W singled, scoring one run.

Both teams were strong in the circle. VLL SB 10s All Stars pitchers struck out 17, while SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26 sat down 11.

SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26 got on the board in the top of the second inning after Hadley T tripled down the right field line, and SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26 scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Laine B singled to the left side of the infield following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped VLL SB 10s All Stars tie the game at two in the bottom of the fifth.

Evelyn V earned the win for VLL SB 10s All Stars. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none. Violet W took the loss for SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26. The hurler went one inning, surrendering one run (zero earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking none. Elliana K stepped in the circle first for VLL SB 10s All Stars. The righty surrendered two hits and two runs over six innings, striking out 14 and walking four. Reagan N stepped in the circle first for SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none.

VLL SB 10s All Stars collected 10 hits in the game. Reeve M, Claire S, and Audrey M each collected two hits for VLL SB 10s All Stars. Laine and Madison each drove in one run for VLL SB 10s All Stars. Claire and Evelyn each stole multiple bases for VLL SB 10s All Stars. VLL SB 10s All Stars stole nine bases in the game. VLL SB 10s All Stars were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Evelyn made the most plays with 14.

Number eight hitter, Hadley, showed the depth of SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26's lineup, by leading them with two hits in two at bats. SHLL 8-9-10 All Stars 26 didn't commit a single error in the field. Iyla C had the most chances in the field with nine.

⚾️🥎 PITCH, HIT & RUN CANCELLATION REMINDER

The Pitch, Hit & Run event originally scheduled for Saturday, July 18 at Big Rock Field has been cancelled.

RCX Sports emailed registered participants several weeks ago, but we wanted to ensure no one makes an unnecessary trip to the fields. We contacted all registered participants again today, but want to make sure to spread the word.

We hope everyone is enjoying a great summer—keep practicing those baseball and softball skills!

Congratulations to our Valley Little League 8/9/10 Softball All-Stars on capturing the 2026 Washington District 9 Championship!

These incredible athletes showed outstanding teamwork, determination, and heart throughout the tournament, earning their spot as District 9 Champions. We couldn’t be more proud of this amazing group of players, coaches, and families who represented Valley Little League with class every step of the way.

🌟 Next Stop: STATE! 🌟

The team will compete in the Washington State Little League 8/9/10 Softball Tournament, beginning Saturday, July 25, at the Bar-S Playfields in West Seattle.

Let’s show these girls the full support of the Valley Little League community as they continue their incredible postseason run! 💙❤️
