This week's Core Value at The Hive Summer Camps is **Integrity**.

Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It's about being honest, taking responsibility for our actions, following through on commitments, and treating others with respect and kindness.

Throughout the week, our campers have been practicing integrity in many different ways—helping clean up after activities, being accountable for their choices, including others, respecting shared spaces, and caring for the natural environments we explore together.

At The Hive, we believe that character development is just as important as the activities themselves. By creating opportunities for youth to practice values like integrity, we are helping build confidence, trust, leadership skills, and a strong sense of community.

These lessons may seem small in the moment, but they have a lasting impact. The ability to act with honesty, accountability, and respect will serve our youth throughout their lives—in school, at work, in relationships, and as future community leaders.

We are proud of the growth, maturity, and leadership our campers continue to demonstrate each day.

This week at Skate Camp, we're celebrating one of The Hive's core values: **Discipline**.

Discipline isn't about being perfect—it's about showing up, trying again, and staying committed even when things get challenging.

Every time a skater gets back up after a fall, practices a trick over and over, listens to feedback, or encourages a friend to keep going, they're building discipline. It's the small choices we make every day that help us grow stronger, more confident, and more resilient.

At The Hive, we know that skateboarding teaches so much more than tricks. It teaches patience, perseverance, responsibility, and the value of hard work. The lessons learned on a skateboard often carry far beyond the skatepark and into everyday life.

This week, we're celebrating every youth who showed up, put in the effort, and kept pushing forward. Growth doesn't happen overnight—it happens one attempt, one challenge, and one victory at a time. 💛
