There is still time to register for the Michigan Christmas Tree Association Winter Meeting, to be held on Friday, February 27th, in Frankenmuth, MI. We have an excellent program planned, featuring Dr. Pratima Devkota, MSU, who will discuss root rot diseases in Christmas trees. Her presentation will focus on how Armillaria and Phytophthora root rot diseases affect Christmas tree farms, and will share plans for upcoming research work to better understandroot diseases and guide future management. Dr. Debalina Saha, MSU will provide solutions to control some of the toughest weeds such as Horsetail, Marestail, yellow nutsedge,Milkweed, and Horsenettle.
