Rocket Shop Farm Foundation was pleased to present grant recipient, Horses for Heroes, with a check for $1000 for additional supplies to build a pole barn to protect horses and clients from the elements. At the same time we presented CADRE with a check for $2000 to support their efforts with the veterans groups and to help Horses for Heroes with their barn raising.

Horses for Heroes provides Equine Therapy at no cost for Veterans, Firefighters, Police Officers, First Responders and their families.

Great strides can be made towards calming the stormy seas of inner turmoil, resulting from the deep trauma of PTSD, while forming a bond, through care, education and individual interaction with horses.

Rocket Shop Farm Foundation was pleased to present grant recipient, Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens, with a check for $5000 to offset cost to install a Kids in Parks TRACK Trail. Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden that promotes peace, humane education, animal rescue, and environmental preservation.

While the botanical garden serves as a regional destination, financial and structural barriers often prevent local children from engaging with nature in a structured, meaningful way. Implementing the Kids in Parks TRACK Trail fills this critical gap by creating a free with-admission, self-guided outdoor learning adventure. It directly addresses rural youth health and education disparities by incentivizing kids to get active outdoors and build a lifelong connection with nature.

Please stop by and enjoy a peaceful walk through the garden. Also visit their website to learn more www.cedarlakeswoodsandgarden.com
