💔 Our newest intakes need your help. 💔
This year alone, Pawsitive Pals Foundation has taken in nearly 70 cats and kittens and these three little ones are our newest arrivals. Sadly, they came to us severely malnourished and will need extra care, good nutrition, veterinary treatment, and plenty of time to heal and grow stronger. 🐾
We are a small nonprofit rescue completely funded by donations, and every dollar truly makes a difference.
On average, we spend about $150 per cat or kitten on basic veterinary care which adds up to over $10,000 so far just this year alone to get them healthy and ready for adoption. That is just the beginning, our total cost of caring for each animal also includes food, litter, additional medications or testing, and emergency care.
For kittens like these three who are severely malnourished, those costs can be significantly higher.
With nearly 70 cats and kittens coming through our doors so far this year, the expenses add up quickly. We want to continue saying yes to animals who desperately need somewhere safe to go, but we can only do that with your help. ❤️
