It has been over two years since we rescued our sweet Opal and somehow her forever family still hasn't found her.
Two years of watching other dogs find their families while she waits. Two years of hoping that maybe today will finally be her day. And through it all, Opal has remained the sweetest girl you could ever meet, she is gentle, loving, and so deserving of a family who will finally choose her and never let her go.
Opal doesn't ask for much, all she needs is a home where she can be the only pet. In return, she will give you all the love her heart has to offer.
It breaks our hearts to think that after everything she has been through, Opal is still waiting. She has spent far too much of her life without a family of her own. She deserves a couch to call hers, a person to love, a family to wake up beside every morning, and a place where she never has to wonder if she’ll be left behind again.
Opal is a six year old black mouth cur mix who absolutely loves everyone she meets and kids of all ages.
She is kennel/house trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and heartworm tested negative.

Since being returned Motley has been struggling with the loneliness of being without a family!
She doesn’t understand why she’s back she just knows she’s waiting once again for someone to choose her. More than anything, she misses having a family to call her own and is patiently waiting for someone to give her the second chance she deserves.
Through it all, she hasn’t lost her sweet, loving spirit! She still greets everyone with a happy tail wag and hopes that each new face might finally be her forever family.

She got pampered, loved on, and even had her toenails painted because every girl deserves to feel beautiful while she waits for her forever home. Now that she’s all freshened up, Opal is hoping today is the day her family finally finds her!
She has been patient, she has been hopeful, and she is ready to finally be someone’s forever girl. Opal has spent so much of her life wondering when it will be her turn to have a family of her own, she has been overlooked time and time again, not because she isn’t amazing, but because she simply needs one special thing: a home without other animals.
