✨We're excited to see the Listen Up program gaining momentum in Lions District 24-L! After completing educational roadshows throughout the district, Lions are now moving into volunteer training and team development to prepare for community screenings. District 24-L is organizing regional teams of trained Lions who will bring these free screenings directly to young children and their families.
😇A special thank you to the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB) for partnering with Lions Clubs across Virginia to make this initiative a success.

The Montclair Lions Club partnered with the Dale City Moose Lodge and proudly participated in the Dale City 4th of July Parade! 🇺🇸🦅Despite the scorching summer heat, our dedicated volunteers came together to decorate our float and hand out candy to parade-goers along the route. Seeing all the smiling faces made every minute worthwhile!

A special shout-out to Doug for building the incredible Moose Lodge eagle float that turned heads all along the parade route. What a beautiful display of patriotism and craftsmanship!👏🇺🇸👏

What an incredible way to celebrate the 4th of July! 🇺🇸🥞

The Montclair Lions Club, alongside our amazing Dumfries Triangle Rescue Squad at Station 17 in Montclair proudly served over 400 pancake breakfasts to our community during our annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast!😋🍽️🥞

A heartfelt thank you to Anthony, manager of the IHOP on Rte 234 for the pancake batter and Davinder Singh for the Coffee service.

Thank you everyone who came out to support our fundraiser, and celebrate Independence Day with us. We look forward to seeing you again next year! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

🏆👏Congratulations to Kevin Shen on an outstanding achievement and well-deserved victory!! Your hard work, dedication, and musical talent have truly shined.

The State Bland Competition was held last evening in Bristol, Virginia, and we are thrilled to share that Kevin earned 1st Place in the Instrumental Division!🥇🌟

Kevin previously won the Montclair-Woodbridge Lions Bland Competition and proudly represented our clubs at the state level. Competing against a talented field of 12 contestants: 6 vocalists and 6 instrumentalist👏🥳.

This Memorial Day, the Montclair Lions Club honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this holiday weekend, we pause to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are forever grateful.

The Montclair Lions Club extends a heartfelt thank you to Cynthia Rader, Community Engagement Specialist with Women Giving Back, for joining us as the guest speaker at our recent dinner meeting.

We were truly touched by the incredible impact this organization is having across our community and throughout the DMV region. Women Giving Back provides women and children in crisis with clothing, shoes, accessories, diapers, and essential items at no cost — helping families who are often rebuilding their lives after leaving difficult situations with very little.

What especially resonated with our members was the organization’s commitment to restoring dignity, confidence, and hope through compassion and personal connection. Their boutique-style environment, supported by dedicated volunteers, offers not only necessities, but encouragement and kindness during challenging times.

Thank you, Cynthia, for sharing the inspiring mission of Women Giving Back and for the meaningful work your team does every day to support women and children on their path toward stability and a fresh start. 💜
