Senior Spotlight: Trevor
For the past 12 years, Trevor has been a dedicated member of the Seahawks family, growing from a young swimmer into an accomplished senior both in and out of the pool. As the youngest child in a family that has been involved with the Seahawks for an incredible 19 years, Trevorās journey marks the end of a special era for his family within the team.
When asked about his favorite Seahawks memory, Trevor doesnāt point to a particular race or achievementāinstead, he cherishes the friendships he has built along the way, especially the time spent hanging out with friends under the team tent at swim meets and providing encouragement and support to his fellow seahawks.
This fall, Trevor will attend Christopher Newport University to study Political Science with a minor in Communication Studies. He has also been selected to participate in CNUās prestigious Presidential Leadership Program and will perform with the Marching Captains, continuing his passion for teamwork, leadership, and school spirit.
We are incredibly proud of all Trevor has accomplished and grateful for the many years he and his family have been part of the Seahawks community. We wish him the very best as he begins this exciting new chapter. Once a Seahawk, always a Seahawk!
Trevor, I have known you most of your life and had the pleasure of coaching you for 9 out of your 12 years on the Seahawks. You have grown into a wonderful young adult. You are an amazing teammate, always encouraging others and cheering them on! I can always count on you to swim any event, especially fly! Goodluck next year and enjoy your next adventure, Christy and Tim, cheers to 19 years with the Seahawks. You will ALL be missed! -Coach DeNard
