📢 Is your Medicare plan ending in 2027? You have options!

If you've received a notice that your Medicare Advantage or Medicare Prescription Drug Plan will not be renewed for 2027, now is the time to review your coverage options.

You may be able to choose a new Medicare Advantage Plan or return to Original Medicare.

📅 Important Enrollment Deadlines:

October 15 – December 7, 2026: Medicare Open Enrollment

December 8, 2026 – February 28, 2027: Special Enrollment Period for Non-Renewing Plans

Need help understanding your options? Start by contacting your local Council on Aging for information about SHINE counseling availability.

Growing older can bring changes, losses, transitions, health concerns, and periods of isolation that can affect emotional well-being. These experiences deserve attention and support, not to simply be dismissed as a normal part of aging.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding older adults, caregivers, and families that it’s okay to talk about mental health and to reach out when additional support could help.

Tri-Valley’s Money Management Program supports eligible older adults who may need help tracking bills, organizing financial paperwork, developing a budget, or managing day-to-day finances. Trained volunteers work alongside participants to help them stay organized and maintain as much independence as possible.
When something doesn’t look right, another trusted set of eyes can make a difference.

Don't forget to stop by on Thursday, October 8th to speak with 30+ local agencies offering REAL HELP, SAME DAY! Come in and tell us your story and we will connect you with the help you need. Bring your paperwork to complete applications in real time with real people.

At our table, you can expect same day help with MassHealth with one of our Certified Application Counselors, referrals to any of our in-home or community-based programs, and answering your question, "where do I start?"
