As we wrap up our most recent Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes, we’re reminded that the “power” in this program isn’t only in the tools we teach. It’s in the caregivers who come together, listen without judgment, share what they’ve learned, and support one another through experiences only another caregiver may truly understand. Thank you to each of our participants for bringing your own voice, perspective, and kindness to the room. You are what makes these classes so valuable.

Tri-Valley will have a resource table at Veterans Resource Day on October 14! Stop by to meet our team, learn about Tri-Valley’s Veterans Program and other available services, ask questions, and connect with resources in the community.

The event will bring together local organizations offering support related to VA benefits, employment, housing, health and wellness, Chapter 115 assistance, and more.

A house becomes a home through the things that make it yours. 💙

We recently had the opportunity to tour the newly reopened , and what stood out most was the heart and understanding behind their work.

The individuals and families they serve aren’t simply handed the basics. They’re given the opportunity to walk through, make choices, and select the items that feel right for their home, much like any of us would when shopping. And it goes beyond beds, dressers, and other necessities. Paintings, games, décor, and those little personal touches matter too.

That commitment to dignity and choice deeply resonates with our mission at Tri-Valley. Everyone deserves the opportunity to create a space that feels comfortable, personal, and truly their own.
