🎶 Welcome to the 2026–2027 Music Season! 🎶

SHMPA would like to welcome all of our music families to the start of another exciting year! ❤️🎵

The Shepherd Hill Marching Band kicked things off with a week of long hours, hard work, dedication, and plenty of music at band camp! We are so excited about this year’s show and are looking forward to a fantastic marching band season! 🥁🎷🎺

As you start planning for September, we also want to remind everyone that our first SHMPA meeting of the year is Thursday, September 17th at 6:00 PM in the Shepherd Hill Library.

This meeting is a great opportunity for new and returning music parents to:

🎵 Find out about upcoming events and activities
🎵 Learn about ways you can get involved
🎵 Discover fundraising opportunities that help support these amazing programs throughout the year

Here are the September dates for Gillette. Please consider volunteering for at least 1 event. If you are new to Gillette please reach out with questions. This is a great fundraiser for the music program and a way to earn money towards your child's bill.

Charlton Old Home Day Road Race Sponsorships are still open if any businesses still want to participate! If you sponsor online by Monday, 8/24 we can still get you on the back of the T-Shirt! All sponsorships go to help us with this community event as well as the SH music program. Link is below!

Hello Music Families!

Every year Shepherd Hill Music Parents Association helps put on the Old Home Day Race in Charlton. This year the race is on September 6th. We do this as part fundraiser and also as a way to be part of the community.

We are in need of help for water stations to help hand out water cups to the runners as they run by as well as a few other places. We would really appreciate it if each family could please sign up for a spot. The chorus high school students will sing the National Anthem before the race and then they are free to volunteer. Our Marching Band is also performing in the parade so please stay and enjoy the day or come back to support this talented group of kids! Thank you!

ATTENTION! Gillette has increased the donation amount for tomorrow night and Thursday nights BTS concerts! That means more money for you!!!! I think I am going to take advantage and go both nights. Does anyone want to work a Del's Lemonade Stand with me tomorrow night? We are still looking for people for either night!!!! Who wants to go? They are allowing people to come as late as 4 if need be. Please let me know ASAP I would love a friend!!!!!

Hello Parents!

We are still looking for a few more people for the BTS concert on Thursday. Call time is 2:30 but they are ok if you can't make it till 4:15. Please text Beth at 508-847-5896 if you can help out! They have increased what we are given for a donation so you are guaranteed at least $75 but it should be more since this is a sold out concert! I have 2 seats in my car available.

Gillette is looking for volunteers for Monster Jam tomorrow July 30th. Call time is 2pm but as long as you are there by 4pm they are ok with that. Let me know if you want to volunteer!
