As we enter May, Stepping Stone is thankful for an incredible Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness Month this past April!

We wrapped up the month with our annual Child Abuse Prevention luncheon, which celebrates the work being done on behalf of victims of abuse in our community and celebrates the survivors in our lives! We want to thank Dely Arnold for being brave enough to be the 2026 Stepping Stone Survivor Speaker. Dely’s testimony about her family’s experiences with abuse and their healing journey were profound and impactful and we were honored to hear from her.

We also want to thank the Dublin Exchange Club for their generous support of this amazing day! We were thrilled to be a part of celebrating this year’s A.C.E. Award nominees and the winner of the Child Abuse Prevention Essay Contest!

Also, a heartfelt thank you to The Colemoor Estate for donating their lovely venue. It made for a beautiful day! And thank you to our 2026 Champion for Children sponsors, Harold McLendon and the Dublin Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, Community Service Board of Middle Georgia, and the wonderful State Rep. Matt Hatchett for their continued support and dedication to preventing child abuse in our community!

We look forward to continuing our efforts on behalf of survivors of child and sexual abuse and working to make our community safer!
