DAY 31 — THE FLESH IS NOT YOUR EXCUSE

Good evening, Chosen Ones. God has been dealing with me about the flesh, and this word begins with me.

How can we stand before people and preach repentance while refusing to repent ourselves? How can we point at someone else’s life while hiding the lies, desires, and choices we have allowed in our own?

A microphone cannot cover a double life. A title cannot make disobedience holy. A gift cannot excuse deceit. Before you examine somebody else, get alone with God and let Him examine you.

Jesus said, “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). He did not say that to give us permission to surrender to the flesh. He said, “Watch and pray.”

This call reaches the pulpit as surely as it reaches the pew. People’s lives are affected by what we preach and how we live. Chosen Ones, it is time to stop performing church and start telling God the truth.

Put down the mask. Confess what you have excused. Turn from it. Walk in the Spirit. God is calling us to live what we preach.
