Meet our Southern Team 🤍

Our Southern division serves individuals throughout Southern Utah, including St. George, Cedar City, Colorado City, and surrounding areas. These women walk alongside clients as they navigate housing, counseling, education, and rebuilding their lives with support and connection.

We are so grateful for Alex and Melissa and the care they pour into the communities they serve every day.

If you would like to support our teams, you can donate at HoldingOutHelp.org.

We are incredibly grateful to Draper Moms Club for the love, time, and hard work they poured into helping create a safe and welcoming environment for a single mom in our community.

Support like this reminds us that healing and stability are often built through people simply showing up and caring well for others.

Thank you for helping turn a house into a home and for being such a meaningful part of this community. We appreciate you more than words can say. 🤍

A huge thank you to Deseret News for taking the time to share the story behind Holding Out HELP and the work being done to support individuals leaving polygamous communities. We are especially grateful to Lee Benson for interviewing our Executive Director, Tonia Tewell, and to Tess Crowley for capturing these meaningful photos.

Thank you for helping bring awareness to the experiences, resilience, and hope of the individuals and families we serve.

We are currently looking for a temporary host home (around 3 months) for a respectful, hard working male in his mid–late 20s who is working as he rebuilds stability and independence.

The ideal location would be in the Salt Lake Valley (Draper–Murray area).

At Holding Out HELP, we know that safe and supportive environments can make a life-changing difference during times of transition. Even opening your home for a short season can provide someone with the stability they need to move forward. 🤍

If you or someone you know may be interested in learning more, please message us or reach out at [email protected].

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind you that it’s not only okay to ask for support, it’s a good thing.

You don’t have to carry everything on your own.

If you or someone you know has been part of a polygamous community and needs support, we are here 🤍

Donate to holdingouthelp.org so we can support individuals from polygamous backgrounds and provide the care and resources they deserve.

What we see in our work isn’t just trauma, it’s resilience.

Every person who walks through our doors is carrying a story most people never see. Healing takes time, support, and safe spaces to begin again.

At Holding Out HELP, we’re doing everything we can to meet that need, but right now, our waitlist continues to grow.

If you’ve ever wondered how to make a real impact, this is one way. Donate at holdingouthelp.org 🤍

And if you or someone you know is leaving a polygamous community, we are here.

Mental health matters, every month, not just this one.

At Holding Out HELP, we know how heavy life can feel, especially when you’re navigating change, trauma, or starting over. You don’t have to carry it alone.

If you or someone you know needs support, these resources are available 24/7.

And if you come from a polygamous background and aren’t sure where to turn, we’re here for you too. 🤍
