It is with great sadness that I pass along the passing of my dear friend and Pinnacle special player, Queen of the Crit Fail, Jodi Black. You can read the tribute to her here: https://shop.peginc.com/pages/jodi-black.

It has a link to her family's GoFundMe, where you can help if you are able. We will always be grateful to her and the work she did, not only for Pinnacle, but for roleplaying games in general, especially the work I was able to assist her with in bringing RPGs to children and teens.

We had a great time at the ACE South Jordan Chapter last night. Some of our players were out ill (we wish them speedy recoveries) so I stepped in and ran the Sweat Lodge episode of Degrees of Horror from East Texas University.

Seth will be continuing his campaign next week, if all players are in place, otherwise, we might revisit ETU and create actual characters instead of using the Archetypes.

That's one of the best things about Savage Worlds settings like ETU (a Savage Setting that is holding a Kickstarter for its new upgrade to SWADE right now—check it out at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/545820095/east-texas-university-fresh-blood-savage-worlds?ref=ksr_email_mktg_auto_user_new_friend_project) is that they come with Archetypes who can be chosen to get us to throwing dice as soon as possible on a game night when things went sideways.

It was a blast. Catch you all next week.

Even though my current finances prevent me from helping my dear friend, I do reach out to my friends out there who can donate and ask your generosity to help her. I love Jodi and we have a lot more to create to bring RPGs to children together. She has been an amazing force for good in this world, and I would love to see her succeed in this request for help She and Clint are two of my favorite friends whom I haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person, yet.
