We know it’s not even October yet, but when you plan to help Santa put gifts under the tree for more than 250 children in need, you have to get a jump on things!

Sooo, that said, we are looking for individuals, clubs, organizations, schools, etc. to help collect donations of toys, adopt families and volunteer to help make this the best Santa’s Workshop yet! 🍁 As we settle into the fall, we have a lot to celebrate! Here are just a few ways our team was able to serve our community this past month:

✏️ Provided 150+ children with backpacks and school supplies.
🛏️ Delivered 3 families beds.
📞 Paid phone bill for shelter resident.
🍎 Delivered emergency food.
👟 Donated back-to-school clothing.
🏠 Assisted with rent.
🧷 Helped mom with diapers + wipes.
🎂 Gifted a toy for the Birthday Club.🫡 Hosted 2 Veteran Bingo nights.

🎂 Happy belated Birthday, Mayor Erica Deuso! Thank you for thinking of us! It’s an honor to serve our community alongside leaders like you!

My birthday is Thursday, and I have enough.

I have a family who loves me, a good home, food on the table, clothes to wear, a job I love more and more each day, and a community I’m grateful to call home! Growing up, even during some difficult times, I always had a cake, presents to open, and people around me who loved me and cared.

Some kids in our community aren’t as fortunate. Birthdays can come without a cake, candles, decorations, or a present to open, and to me, that is a big problem.

So for my birthday, I’m making a donation to Shar’s Hands, Non-Profit Organization, right here in Downingtown, to help make children's birthdays brighter.
