Chester County Disc Golf

Chester County Disc Golf and Chester Springs Library teamed up for an introduction to disc golf clinic at Pine Creek Park. This gave participants a chance to learn the basic rules, throwing, putting, and then put their new skills to the test on the course.

We had 13 participants join us for an evening of learning, playing, and having fun. Many participants had never played disc golf before, or even held a disc, but by the end of the evening they were loving it and some even took home a putter to get their bag started!

A big thank you to Chester Springs Library and our amazing CCDG volunteers for helping make the event possible. We hope to continue this partnership and together bring more disc golf to the community!

It’s a beautiful day to watch some disc golf! 🥏

Come spend your Saturday with us celebrating 30 years of huckin’ discs at Anson B Nixon Park at our 30 Huckin’ Years birthday celebration tournament.

This tournament wouldn’t be possible without all of our volunteers, Kennett Area Park Authority, our awesome TD Joe Myers, CCDG’s course rep Jon Jo, the players, and all of our sponsors!

Anson B. Nixon 30th Birthday Celebration: 30 Huckin Years is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania beginning October 3, 2026 and hosted by Chester County Disc Golf.

Join Chester Springs Library, Chester County Disc Golf, and West Pikeland Township for a FREE beginner-friendly Disc Golf 101 clinic at Pine Creek Park!

Members of Chester County Disc Golf will teach the basics of the game, including rules, throwing and putting techniques, before participants team up to try out their new skills on the course. No experience necessary!

👨‍👩‍👧 Recommended for adults and families with older children
🥏 Male and female instructors will be present

We have some exciting things happening at Anson B Nixon and Mt Bradford. In an effort to make our courses the best they can be, we will be organizing set volunteer days as well as orangized groups to help with course maintenance. Keep your eye on the website for sign up opportunities.

In the mean time, if anyone either has a landscaping company, works for a landscaping company or has a commercial zero turn or tractor they are willing to donate their time and equipment for an afternoon. Please reach out to Ryan Kinka or Matt Potter.
