Apiary Inspection Position Open
As you may know, Jeff Eckel has accepted a new position as an Apiary Manager at a nonprofit organization in Bucks County. To say I am sorry to see Jeff leave is an understatement. I know he will do well at his new position, but we sure will miss him.
HR posted the position yesterday at Commonwealth of PA - Opportunities for All Job Seekers | Sorted by Job Title ascending | Find Your Passion for Public Service! Type Apiary Inspector in search bar.
The inspector will have Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties in their territory. The job goes from March through October with the new candidate maybe beginning after March. It is 40 hours a week, usually Monday-Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm. November- start up in March, the inspectors are on leave without pay before beginning again the next season. They may collect unemployment if desired.
If you know anyone who may be interested and a good fit for this position, please share this email with them. Please also ask them to email me ([email protected]) if they apply. In the past there were a few applications from qualified candidates that did not get to me because their beekeeping experience was missed by the reviewer.
Thank you for your help with this! We are hoping to add another great person to our inspection team.
