***Attention Divers in Curaçao***

We recently had a report of a manta with a hook and line attached cruising around the island. It's now been spotted a few times. It approached divers and circled them, showing the hook but unfortunately, it could not be removed.

If you spot this manta and can safely cut the line, that is also a good option. Cutting the line would at least prevent further entanglement. We never encourage people to touch a manta but in this case, we are hoping the line can be removed.

If you spot any manta or devil ray, please let us know (pictures or videos are even better).

Tonight’s (8/3) presentation is at Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino, Bonaire with Divi Dive Bonaire in the Pure Ocean Garden! Starts at 7:30pm, free, open to everyone!

There has been some confusion about where the garden is from the walkway- just behind the sign (now in the video above)!
