Last night, a Russian missile hit the factory where NOSU produces Scout uniforms.

We lost the fabric that had already been purchased, as well as uniforms that had already been produced and paid for, but not yet collected.

This happened just before the summer camp season, and all the uniforms lost belonged to new Scouts who had recently joined NOSU. For many of them, this summer will bring their first real Scout camp experience.

We cannot ask families to pay for the same uniform twice, but at the same time, NOSU is not in a position to replace everything that was lost on its own.

So today, we are turning to our friends, partners, and the global Scout community for support.

We all know that a Scout uniform is more than a shirt. It is about belonging, dignity, and equality. It is the feeling of standing together as part of a patrol, a troop, and the worldwide Scout family.

Please help us give these new Scouts the start to Scouting they deserve.

With your support, we will produce new uniforms and get them to the Scouts who have been waiting for them before their first summer camps.

- €20 provides a Scout uniform for one Ukrainian Scout
- €40 provides uniforms for two Ukrainian Scouts
- €100 provides uniforms for five Ukrainian Scouts

As a small thank-you:

- If you donate €20+, you will receive a thank-you video from a Ukrainian Scout.

- If you donate €40+, you will receive a thank-you video and a handmade postcard created by one of our Cub Scouts.

- If you donate €100+, you will receive a thank-you video, a handmade postcard, and a special edition NOSU Scout scarf.

All donations will go directly towards producing Scout uniforms for new Scouts.

All donors will receive a clear report on how the money was spent and what their support made possible.

Please spread the word about our Flag Retirement Ceremony on Sunday June 14 at Akridge Scout Reservation. If you can't attend the ceremony, feel free to drop off flags at the Scout Shop at Akridge Scout Reservation during shop hours or at the Administration building during office hours 8:30am-5pm or anytime in the black tote outside the main entrance.

Join us on June 14th, Flag Day, at Akridge Scout Reservation for a community flag retirement event. We encourage you and your Units to collect worn and used flags and invite the community to drop them off at the event. Be sure to spread the word and invite the community to participate in this service opportunity.

If you have not yet taken Safeguarding Youth Training, which has replaced Youth Protection Training, the time is NOW at https://my.scouting.org. After you log in, click the gray box that says S.A.F.E.GUARDING YOUTH, and away you go!

After May 31, any volunteer who has not completed this fully updated training will lose access to Scoutbook and may not serve in their role until the training is completed. We truly value the dedication of all our volunteers and want everyone to remain an active part of delivering a safe Scouting experience to our youth members, so please don't wait another minute!
