Scouting America is shifting all unit recharter dates and membership renewal dates to the end of February 2028. We have a new web page at https://www.delmarvacouncil.org/recharter/ to share info as it is released, so you can start planning now. For example:
* Beginning with units expiring in October 2026, unit renewal will be through February 2028 at a cost of $8.50 per month. (e.g., a unit expiring at the end of December 2026 will recharter for 14 months, so $8.50 x 14 = $119).
* Beginning December 2026, there will no longer be a “lapsed period” after a unit expires. The unit loses access to online tools until the unit is rechartered manually.
Please start planning NOW to ensure your unit recharters on time.
