As we prepare for another great Douds Field Day, we're looking for donations to help make some of our favorite traditions a success!

🍰 Cake Walk Donations Needed
We're looking for cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, breads, and other homemade or store-bought treats to use as prizes for the Cake Walk.

🍪 Cook Shack Sweet Treats
Help us keep the dessert table stocked! Donations of bars, cookies, cupcakes, pies, and other sweet treats are always a hit with hungry Field Day visitors.

🧺 Auction Donations Welcome
Do you have a gift basket, handmade item, home décor, baked goods, gift certificate, service, or unique item you'd be willing to donate to our auction? Every donation helps support our community and makes the auction more exciting for attendees.

Last call to get on the map for City Wide Garage Sales! Cut off time is Monday, 6/1 at Noon!

Our friends in Libertyville, City of Libertyville Iowa, are doing their City Wide Garage Sales the weekend of June 6th so we will tag along for the fun!

Message or comment below with your name and address if you'd like to have a garage sale and what days you might be open.

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DOUDS FIELD DAY COOK SHACK 🚨

Our community events only happen because people step up and serve. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help at the Cook Shack during Freedom & Field Day on June 20th!

We specifically need:

🍔 3 Volunteers
⏰ 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM

🍟 At Least 4 Volunteers
⏰ 4:30 PM – Cleanup (around 6:30 PM)

Volunteers will help:
• Serve food
• Run the cash register for donations/payments
• Simple Cleaning/Maintenance

Even a few hours make a huge difference for our community. 🇺🇸

⚾️🥎Take me out to the ball game⚾️🥎

Come on down to the ball field in Douds (by the elementary school) and support the local kids and the Douds ball teams!

It is so nice to be able to stay close to home and have games in Douds, lets fill the bleachers for those kids!

The community is feeling a huge loss today with the news of Gwen Pedrick's passing. Such a wonderful woman who gave so much to Douds. We truly are thankful for you and everything you have done for this town. Rest in peace 🙏

It’s time to start planning Douds Field Day 2026 🎉 and we have something extra special to look forward to as we celebrate Douds and USA 250th together!
We need ideas, volunteers, and community spirit to make this year bigger and better than ever. If you have ideas and also just want to be part of the fun, we’d love to see you there!
