🎄💛 It’s Never Too Early for Christmas at City Hope 💛🎄

We know it may feel early, but we are already preparing for our big Christmas for Houston DHR kids that we do every year.

Right now, we are accepting monetary donations that will be set aside specifically for Christmas. This helps us plan ahead and make sure every child we serve experiences joy, dignity, and the feeling of being remembered during the holiday season.

Because of your generosity, we are able to provide gifts, essentials, and moments of happiness for children who may otherwise go without.

💙 National Foster Care Month 💙

May is National Foster Care Month, a time to recognize and honor the children, families, and caregivers who are part of the foster care journey.

At City Hope, we see both the beauty and the heartbreak of this system every day. Behind every number is a child often carrying more than any child should stepping into the unknown with a trash bag of belongings and a heart full of questions.

We also see the incredible foster families, case workers, and advocates who step in with open doors, open arms, and steady love when it’s needed most.

This month, we honor:
✨ Foster children navigating change and healing
✨ Foster parents who open their homes and hearts
✨ Biological families working toward restoration
✨ Social workers and advocates who show up daily

And we invite YOU to be part of the hope. Whether that’s fostering, donating, volunteering, or simply learning more every action matters.

☀️ Food Truck or Drink Vendors Wanted ☀️

City Hope is looking for a food truck, coffee truck, nutrition shop, or drink vendor to set up at our upcoming rummage sale!

📅 July 10th or 11th
⏰ 7 AM – 1 PM

We will also have Houston County DHR on-site for foster parent recruitment and community outreach, and we would love to have a food or drink vendor join us for the event! ❤️

This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, promote your business, and support local foster children and families.

Today we just want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you to every single person who donates, volunteers, shares our posts, prays for us, and stands with the children and families we serve. City Hope would not be what it is without YOU.

Because of your kindness, kids have diapers, pajamas, clothes, and the comfort of knowing someone cares. Because of you, families feel seen and supported in some of their hardest moments.

Today we celebrate every kind of mother figure, moms, foster moms, adoptive moms, grandmothers, aunts, mentors, and the women who step in with love when children need it most. ❤️

At City Hope, we see every day the difference a caring and compassionate woman can make in a child’s life. Whether it’s offering comfort, encouragement, a safe place to land, or simply showing up your love matters more than words can say.

To the moms doing their best through sleepless nights, busy schedules, hard seasons, and joyful moments… thank you.
