Description: On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends – “those good and crazy people [his] married friends” – explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions.

Summer Camp Week 1 was a success! 🎭⚔️✨

From craft making to technique-based lessons to a magical performance of “King Arthur & the Adventures of the Round Table,” we accomplished so much! We are so thankful to camp director Brianna Lewis, teaching assistant Madison Smith, summer intern Marianna Richardson, and our team of counselors for workinging so diligently with our young thespians. We also have to highlight the fact that all of the plays performed this summer are Brianna Lewis originals, custom fit to our campers with Miss Bri’s trademark sense of humor! We can’t wait for Week 2!

Join us for Southeast Alabama Community Theatre’s first-ever Shakespeare in the Park production! As You Like It is a feel-good romantic comedy that follows runaways Orlando and Rosalind into the Forest of Arden, where love is definitely in the air. But will it find Orlando and Rosalind?

This one-night-only event is completely FREE to the public and runs just one hour—perfect for the whole family. Join us under the stars in Downtown Dothan’s beautiful Porter Park Events Plaza for a special evening of romance, comedic twists, and Shakespeare!

Enjoy live pre-show music from The Dothan Moonlighters and guitar accompaniment from Reid Williams!
