You may remember Nina. She was dumped at our shelter a little while back. She was in awful condition. Poor Nina was skin and bones. Her eyes were terribly infected and she was missing a lot of fur. Nina was also heartworm positive. It looks like Nina was used for breeding puppies. She is still with us. It’s been a bit of a long road getting her healthy but we are getting there. Nina’s eyes were treated and she had eyelid surgery. She’s still in need of one more eyelid surgery which we will be doing soon. She also just completed heartworm treatment and is now heartworm free!! She’s not quite ready for adoption yet but we are getting there!! She is the absolute sweetest girl!! Nina has been through a lot but through it all she is just as loving and happy as can be!! 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾(this only says AI content because it was used to adjust the color on the photos. The sun was bright and they were backlight).
