We are not sure why Chef is still with us! He is a great little dog! We don’t know for sure what he is but think yorkie on taller legs. He’s full of puppy energy at just under 1 year old so he needs someone who can appreciate his energy and keep up with him. He would love an active family to do things with him! We would like to say a big thank you to Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Dothan for helping us out with Buddy & Sissy! It was not an easy job as it was most likely the first time they had ever been to a groomer and it was a bit of a scary experience for them. Through the efforts of our awesome staff and the fantastic groomers at Woof Gang we were able to save their fur without shaving!! We appreciate it so much Woof Gang! These two are not quite ready for adoption yet and we are not taking applications just yet but we will soon. We will post more info when they become available! 💕💕💕💕💕🐾🐾🐾🐾

We are hiring for a part time position. 15-20 hours a week, every other Saturday is required, and every 3rd Sunday.

Typical part time hours are 8am-11am.

On occasion some of the below shifts are available.

8-4:30- Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, Friday,Saturday

8-5:30-Wednesday

8-3-Sunday

Hours vary week to week, so we need someone with open availability!

This is job is very demanding physically, emotionally, and mentally, BUT the outcomes are so rewarding!

We need a medical foster for Sam. We need someone who has no other dogs, can provide a quiet calm environment for him and is familiar with giving seizure medications. He is very stressed at the shelter and needs a medical foster to help get him stable. If you think you might be able to foster him please call and talk with us (334)792-6693. We picked up donations today from Andrew Anderson: Allstate Insurance! We are so grateful for Andrew and the donation drive he does for us every year! Thank you to all who donated! Our older gentleman, Harvey, will have been with us 1 year in a couple of weeks. He’s had a long road. He came to us very underweight, severe skin allergies and heartworm positive. We got him at a healthy weight, treated his skin allergies and his heartworms. He will most likely require ongoing medications for his skin allergies. He is 8 years old. He’s a sweet older guy just looking for a retirement home to live out his golden years! He just needs a soft bed, a yard to roam around and lay in to soak up all the sun, lots of love and all the treats!! He really loves the treats!! Could you be Harvey’s forever?? Come out and meet him!! 💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾
