If you or anyone you know are looking to donate, or for anyone in need of assistance, please see below for a list of some of the local food pantries in town, including their addresses, operating hours, and contact details.

Huntington Station has several food pantries run by St. Hugh of Lincoln Church, Huntington Food Pantry, Long Island Cares, Helping Hand Rescue Mission, and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Additional resources in the area include TRI-CYA and Saint Patrick’s Church in Huntington, the Ecumenical Lay Council in Northport, Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Dix Hills (by appointment only), and Island Harvest Food Bank in Melville.

Summer meals information

Keep your kids fueled and active all summer long! ☀️🍎

Free, nutritious meals are available for all children and teens (ages 18 and under) at convenient locations right in our community. Whether it’s at a local park, library, or community center, Hunger Solutions New York is here to make sure every student has access to healthy food while school is out.

Every meal is packed with the good stuff—fruits, veggies, grains, and protein—and many sites even offer fun games and activities for the kids to enjoy!
