2026 Community Road Trip #7. We had an absolute blast with 4th and 5th grade students at Charlotte Elementary School, hosting back-to-back music assemblies to share a little about stringed instruments and give everyone the opportunity to hold and play guitars. The session ended with a massive sing-along jam that featured tubanos, maracas, tambourines, guitars and a whole lot of clapping. We hope the kids had nearly as much fun as we did! Our after-school guitar program at CES is at capacity, so THANK YOU for allowing your children the opportunity to learn and play music with us. The benefits of music education go far beyond simply learning notes and chords.

Meet our 2026-2027 instructor team. Mr. Darrin joined the Quest Center in 2025 after 34 years as a music educator with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Darrin leads our Continuing Guitar class at the Quest Center studio, as well as our after-school programs at CES, SBES, WBES and DCA. Our fall semester begins the week of Sept 7. 2026 Community Road Trip #6. We had an AMAZING time with 4th and 5th grade students at White Bluff Elementary School, learning a little about stringed instruments and giving everyone the opportunity to hold and play guitars. We ended the session with a massive sing-along jam featuring tubanos, maracas, tambourines, guitars and a whole lot of clapping! We’re not sure that we’ve EVER gotten such an overwhelming response to ‘Don’t Stop Believing!’ WOW!!!

Our after-school classes at WBES begin September 10 and are held every Thursday when school is in session from 3:15-4:00. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons but everyone contributes and space is limited. 2026 Community Road Trip #5. THANK YOU Vanleer ES! The energy level was off the charts when we visited with 4th and 5th grade students at Vanleer Elementary School! We shared a little about stringed instruments, and everyone had the opportunity to hold and play a guitar. We ended the session with a massive sing-along jam that featured tubanos, maracas, tambourines, guitars and a whole lot of clapping!

Our after-school classes at VES begin September 14 and are held every Monday when school is in session from 3:15-4:00. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons and space is limited. Meet our 2026-2027 instructor team. Ms. Saralyn has been teaching violin/fiddle at the Quest Center since 2024. “I’m excited to continue my involvement with the Quest Center. Growing up, music was a constant staple in my home and I committed to the fiddle at age 12. I continue to find teaching one of the most rewarding parts of musicianship and am excited to invest in Tennessee’s next generation of players!” Our fall semester begins the week of Sept 7. We provide a limited number of violins at no cost for students to use in-class and at-home, and no child is ever turned away for financial reasons. Both sessions began wth a show-&-tell of stringed instruments, then each student had the opportunity to hold and play a guitar. And as always, the session wrapped up with a high-energy jam that featured guitars, tubanos, tamborines, maracas and a whole lot of clapping. We hope the kids had as much fun as we did! 2026 Community Road Trip #2. THANK YOU Stuart Burns ES! We had a fantastic time with 4th and 5th grade students at SBES earlier this week. Each session began wth a show-&-tell of various stringed instruments, then each student had the opportunity to hold and play a guitar. For 5th graders, we ended with a high-energy jam that featured tambourines, maracas, djembes, tubanos, guitars and a whole lotta clapping. We hope the kids had as much fun as we did!

We’ve been conducting after-school guitar classes at SBES since 2016 and will return again this school year. Classes begin September 8 and are held every Tuesday when school is in session from 3:15-4:00. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons, but everyone contributes.
