Evidence based practice matters.

Families, educators and professionals deserve access to autism interventions and strategies grounded in research, ethics and real world effectiveness.

We are working to expand into additional underserved communities across Africa and the rest of the world.

Autism can affect how someone processes the weight of a moment. A person may fixate on a certain aspect and respond in a way that seems inappropriate, even though no harm is intended. What looks like disrespect is not always malice; sometimes it is simply a different way of processing, especially under stress.

When families do not have access to autism education, children are often misunderstood, underserved or excluded.

Evidence-based practice changes that.

The ASD Certificate Program is helping educators and advocates learn practical, research supported strategies that improve outcomes for autistic individuals and create more inclusive communities.

From Ethiopia to future programs across Africa and South America, this initiative is focused on sustainable education, advocacy and empowerment.

Awareness matters. Training matters. Partnership matters.

Congratulations to the second cohort of HFSE’s ASD Certificate Program in Evidence-Based Practice in Ethiopia!

These educators and advocates are helping create meaningful change through evidence-based autism education, advocacy and community outreach in underserved communities. Following a successful pilot initiative, the program has already contributed to awareness efforts reaching more than 6,500 individuals.

By building local knowledge and sustainable partnerships, we strengthen long-term outcomes for autistic individuals and their families.

We are proud of every participant who completed this program and became part of a growing international movement for inclusion and advocacy.
