"AT LEAST 182 OF THE 1,400 HOUSEHOLDS HAVE REPORTED HAVING NO OR NOT ENOUGH WATER"
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but to our viewers, please take a moment to share this post. Even after so many years, people still do not understand the weight of the drought in California, and will likely continue to ignore the drought until they have run out of water themselves.
It is very late, but not too late to take action.
Step one is to share this post or any news about the drought. Help fight the ignorance.
Step two is to take action yourself.
-Go fix those leaky faucets that have been dripping for a while.
-Turn off those automatic sprinklers. Green lawns are a sign of evil during this drough.
-Stop wasting water with the Ice bucket challenge and just donate (that way, when the drought severely hits your area, you won't wish for those several gallons of water that you could have used to quench your thirst)
-Take five minute showers and turn off the water while you lather or brush your teeth.
-Use the golden rule, "If it's yellow, leave it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down."
-Replace your toilet with one that conserves water (same with shower heads and sinks)
-Do whatever you can to save water.
Reality is, we might all be forced to move in the near future due to the drought. Whether it is the high water prices or the inability to obtain the liquid gold, the stakes are high.
Please share and take action.

Hundreds of rural San Joaquin Valley residents no longer can get drinking water from their home faucets because California's extreme drought has dried up their individual wells, government officials and community groups said.
