Make an Impact: Youth Wrestling Coach Wanted!

Join the Dexter Wrestling Club and help shape the next generation of athletes.

Are you passionate about wrestling and looking to share your experience? The Dexter Wrestling Club (DWC) is seeking a dynamic Youth Wrestling Coach to head our new competitive "Black/Destroyer Group".

This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to mentor our most experienced young athletes and help them reach the next level of competition. Whether you are a student looking to build your résumé or a coach passionate about community impact, we want you on our team.

Why DWC?
-Competitive Pay: Earn $20 to $35/hour. Commensurate with experience.
-High-Impact Role: Lead practices and mentor dedicated athletes in a focused, high-energy environment.
-Skill Development: Build your coaching portfolio, leadership skills, and program management experience.
-Community: Become a key part of the Dexter wrestling tradition.

The Essentials:
-When: November 2026 to March 2027.
-Where: Creekside Intermediate School, Dexter, MI.
-Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday evenings (6:00 to 8:00 pm).
-Commitment: Lead weekly practices and attend 8 to 10 weekend tournaments.
-Application Deadline: August 24th

We are looking for someone with wrestling experience (high school, collegiate, or club) who loves to teach and inspire. Prior coaching experience is required, as is a great attitude and the ability to motivate young athletes.

Must pass background checks and meet standard safety certification requirements.

Dexter Wrestling Club is Going Pro for the Dexter Summer Festival Parade!

Please join us for the Dexter Summer Festival Parade on Saturday, August 8th, at 10 am. DWC is inviting all club wrestlers, as well as Mill Creek and Dexter High School wrestlers, to participate. DWC families are also welcome to participate. Just be sure to be decked out in your DWC or Dexter Wrestling gear and feel free to add some Pro Wrestling highlights, like face paint, tassels, capes or belts!
