FYI - so many cancers are caused by chemicals introduced unknowingly into our environment. This is not a political post, but it is up to us to advocate for ourselves

Family and Friends:
The summer is flying by, and The Bobby Spreading Hope Golf Outing this August 3rd really snuck up on me! It seems that I am not alone, because there is still a lot to do for the golf outing and the Reverse Birthday Bash on September 22nd. If you, like me, want to see this non-profit, keep going and remain successful in memory of Bobby Cerasoli, I wanted to share how we can all help.

What is needed:
1. Donations
a. Auction items for the golf outing
b. Hole sponsors (see flyer for more info- $300 per hole)
c. Birthday party items
d. Monetary donations to help with either

2. Golf teams (see flyer- 8/3, $280 per 4 person team)

3. Purchase/sell raffle tickets for the ¼ beef prize!

4. Volunteers
a. Are you able to solicit donations?
b. Can you help out the day of the golf outing?
c. Please contact Angie Cerasoli

5. SHARE!
a. Share this post!
b. Follow and share the Bobby Cerasoli Spreading Hope Foundation page with all of your friends! Keep building and spreading awareness of who Bobby was and how we are keeping his memory and love alive in this world.

Something's Wrong hasn't posted in a few weeks, but that does not mean we haven't been busy. We wanted to give you an update on some good news.

* Something's Wrong In North Branch is officially a 501(c)(3) corporation (we just received non-profit status), which means we can begin to accept tax deductible donations to continue to pursue answers in the community.

* Our fundraising information will be in a subsequent post.

* The voluntary cancer registration has received about 30 entries, and over 30 cases. If you haven't submitted and plan to, you can add information anytime, however the first round of mapping will be completed in early February. This will be our starting point. Your information is so important in the mapping process, please enter your information as soon as you are able.

* The first campaign for elected officials is planned to be mailed on February 11. The mailings will be posted here in electronic form so that our community is aware of the changes we seek at a state and federal level to save lives.

Thank you for your continued support! We appreciate you.

Nathan Farnsworth, 22, passed away just after 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. This terrible disease stole his future, we need to do more to get to the bottom of this. This is my nephew and his journey is why this page was created.

View Nathan Martin Farnsworth's obituary, contribute to their memorial, see their funeral service details, and more.

This is the information collected. Although interesting, it is not really helpful for identifying issues in a community.

Update:
Based on my conversation with Sen. Kevin Daly's office today, I do not believe they are interested in working towards a change on the reporting delay of cancer cases through MDHHS. They believe that MDHHS should determine the necessary time to report cancer cases.

My opinion is that 3-5 years to get any information to the public is too long, especially when it concerns the health of a community.

I will post further updates once available.
