We stand in solidarity with our friends ! We're wishing them well in their ongoing contract negotiations. While taking this picture, Ash and Gavin shared that they really love the live cam footage of the aquarium and that it really helped the both of them get through the pandemic. The work you do is so important and has positive impacts on people all the way on the other side of the country! Now go get that first contract!! 🐠🦞🐙✊

We are extremely excited and proud to announce that WE WON OUR UNION!!! Today, we conducted a sonotone vote to be represented as one, big, collective unit. We voted UNANIMOUSLY 'YES' for professional and non-professional job titles to be represented together. Our card check was also conducted today with a supermajority!

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We've chosen to highlight a small portion of King's "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech. He delivered these words to AFSCME Memphis sanitation workers during their strike on April 3rd, 1968, just a day before King was assassinated. Almost 58 years later, Dr. King's words still ring true.
