The City of Detroit Department of Neighborhoods (DON) invites residents to join DON Cast on Monday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m. for timely updates from City and Wayne County leadership on initiatives, programs, and community priorities impacting Detroit neighborhoods.
Monday’s meeting will feature presentations on:
The Proposed Wayne County Transit Millage, presented by Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans and DDOT Executive Director of Transit Robert Cramer, including an overview of the proposal, what it would fund, and its potential impact on public transportation throughout Wayne County.
The Detroit Health Department’s Response to the Cyclosporiasis Outbreak presented by Ali Abazeed, Health Director and Chief Public Health Officer, including the latest public health information and guidance for residents.
District 4 Small Business Spotlights presented by District Business Liaison Aftan Malone.
Additional updates from the Mayor’s Office, Detroit Police Department, and the Department of Neighborhoods on programs, initiatives, and upcoming community events.
Following each featured presentation, residents will have the opportunity to ask questions before the meeting concludes with an open community Q&A.
