On this somber Eid al-Adha, the United People of Machghara extend our prayers and solidarity to all those carrying hardship, loss, and sacrifice in their hearts. We know that celebration can feel difficult in times of pain, yet Eid Al-Adha reminds us of the unwavering faith and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon him) who was willing to give everything for the sake of Allah.
Even in sorrow, we hold firmly to the belief that Allah sees our struggles, hears our prayers, and guides us toward justice, mercy, and peace.

“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient — those who, when disaster strikes them, say, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.’”
Qur’an 2:155–156

We pray for all the innocent lives lost and honor the martyrs who have perished in these senseless and brutal attacks on our country. Their sacrifice and memory will never be forgotten.
God bless Lebanon, protect its people, and grant peace, dignity, and justice to all🙏❤️

Please pray for Machghara 🙏
We honor and remember the martyrs of Machghara Innocent civilians, men, women, children, and the elderly, whose lives were taken unjustly.
May Allah have mercy on them, grant them the highest ranks in Jannah, and bring patience and strength to their families and to all the people of Machghara.
We pray that their loved ones remain steadfast through this pain and find comfort in knowing that these innocent souls are among the people of heaven.
God bless our village. May Machghara come out of these difficult times stronger, more united, and steadfast together.

Congratulations to Dr. Jamiley Mohamed Cheikh, beloved daughter of Mohamed and Rouwaida Cheikh, on graduating as a Doctor from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in Texas and pursuing Emergency Medicine.

Today we celebrate not only an academic achievement, but years of commitment, sacrifice, and perseverance. Dr. Jamiley’s accomplishment is a source of pride for her family and for the village of Machghara.
