We’re celebrating by helping our community see a little brighter! 💙

Our team recently did a vision screening at Fairmeadows Elementary School in West Des Moines, helping support healthy vision for local students.

A special thank you to the Des Moines Delta Gamma Alumnae for volunteering their time and helping make this vision screening a success! We’re so grateful for your support and commitment to our community.

World Sight Day is Oct. 8!

In collaboration with the VISION 2020/IAPB, we’re rolling out free eye health education and/or certified vision screening events across the country, supporting a new Pediatric Optometry webinar series, and launching a grasstops campaign for supporting organizations of the Early Detection of Vision Impairments for Children Act (EDVI).

Our World Sight Day efforts are generously supported by funding from Amgen and Alkeus Pharmaceuticals.

Good vision empowers. 👓💚

We’re proud to share that this year’s vision clinic served 529 adults and children with free eye exams and provided 468 prescription glasses, helping improve access to essential vision care for individuals and families throughout our community.

This impact wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated volunteers, healthcare professionals, and community partners who came together to make a difference.
